With profound sadness, we share the passing of Willie Rose Guillory. She slipped away from this world in her sleep at home on February 17, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 91.

Willie Rose was a devoted Christian and longtime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Kinder, Louisiana. She was baptized at an early age in Newville, AL. Willie Rose cherished moments spent with her children, son-in-law, and grandchildren. She found simple joy relaxing on the porch with her husband, sharing coffee and conversation.

She is survived by her loving children: Rose Guillory Pointer (Kenneth), Willie Evain Guillory, Audrey Mae Coleman, and Willman Guillory Jr. (Jan); grandchildren: Kennedy Rose, Kenneth Jr., Kandace, Madison, Hailey, Christopher, Mona, Roman, Nikki, and Derrick. Also, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and God children. Willie Rose's legacy is one of unwavering love, resilience, and the countless lives she touched, leaving cherished memories for all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, (Evain "Son" Guillory), her parents, (Ethel and Johnnie Brown), and nine siblings, (Johnnie Jr., Luzenia, Marie, Annie, George, Joe, Hubert, Coley, Carrie).

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Reed Chapel, 315 N. 14th Street, Kinder, Louisiana. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in Reed Chapel. Interment will take place at Botley Cemetery in Kinder.

A repass will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Smith Hall from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
