William Harris was born on September 4, 1937 and passed away August 25,2025

He is survived by his wife, Veronica "Ronnie" Harris; children, Sharon Shaw, and her husband Anthony, Wanda Parker, and her husband Brian, David Harris, Leonette Pointdexter, and her husband Brian, Bill Harris, Howard "Keith" Harris, and Dionne Lynch, and her husband Michael; sibling, Joyce Dixon; 18 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his child, Kevin Harris; great-grandson, Joseph Elmer Miller; and siblings, Elise Harris, Verra Newman, Joan Smith, and Mace Mason.

A dedicated Jehovah's Witness, William lived a life rooted in faith, integrity, and compassion. He was known for his outgoing personality, strong speaking skills, and deep love for his family. A true "jack of all trades," he was a talented carpenter, a hardworking provider, and someone who could fix just about anything.William loved cheering on his beloved Washington commanders football team. He also enjoyed bowling and had a love for motorcycles.
