Obituary

William Kim Bushnell, a beloved father, brother, and son, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at the age of 74.  Born on December 5, 1950, Kim lived a life marked by quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and a love for family and the outdoors.

Kim served his country with honor in the United States Army, a testament to his commitment and sense of duty.  His career as a pipefitter took him all over the country for work. He was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. Kim prayed daily and loved the Lord.

For many years, Kim committed himself to the care of his father, RV Bushnell.  He enjoyed bringing his daughter camping on the Calcasieu River and always wanted to go check how high the water was. His bond with his brother, Bob, was equally strong, often shared through their shared love of fishing.  His love for motorcycles was another passion, a testament to his independent spirit and appreciation for the open road.

He is survived by his children, April Bushnell & husband, Tommy Simmons III, Chantel Bushnell, and Kimberly Bushnell; granddaughter, Paige; sister, Tina Blanchard.

He is preceded in passing by his parents, RV & Wilma Bushnell; siblings, Elaine Miller and Robert "Bob" Vincent Bushnell.
