Twyla Darline Zook, passed away on June 24, 2026, age 86, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and dedication. Born on May 26, 1940, she was the cherished daughter of Frances and Kenneth Zook.

Twyla spent numerous years caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), a profession that reflected her compassionate heart. Outside of her work, she shared a deep love for adventure, fondly remembering the times spent traveling the open road with her late husband, Charles. Whether she was casting a line while fishing, enjoying a large family gathering, or simply relaxing with her absolute favorite daily treat, a cold Pepsi, Twyla found joy in the simple, beautiful moments of life. Above all, her greatest passion was her immense and ever-growing family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles James Boyer Sr., and her dear daughter, Kenda Hatcher.

Twyla's legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her five children:

Francine Kay Einert of Brighton, CO

She also leaves behind a remarkable generation of 23 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved deeply.

Her warmth, dedication, and love for your family will never be forgotten.

Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons-Lake Charles.
