Timothy "Joel" Tramel was born June 27, 1960, and passed away November 28, 2025, at the age of 65.


Timothy was an avid hunter and loved spending time outdoors. He was a country boy at heart and loved some good southern rice and gravy. He was stubborn, but he loved his precious fur babies, Tuffy Girl and Shorty. He worked many years at Turner Industries as well as Austin Industries. Timothy was loved by many and will be missed greatly.


He is survived by his wife Michelle "Shelly" Tramel; son, Andrew "Andy" Tramel and wife Alana; grandchildren, Ashton Tramel and Austin Tramel; sister, Jamie LeBlanc husband Chad LeBlanc; mother in-law, Velma Perkins; brothers in-law, Brian Perkins and wife Camille, and Burt Perkins; sister in-law, Tammy Kimata husband Glen; God Mother, Rose Marie "Nanny" Johnson; and nieces, Maddison LeBlanc and Ani Kimata.


He is preceded in death by his parents, Timothy and Leona Tramel.


Family will receive friends from 5:00 ~ 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2025, with a funeral service being held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in the Reed Chapel, at Riley Smith and Sons, 315 North 14th Street, Kinder, Louisiana. Rev. Mike Streams and Bro. Dustin Perkins will be officiating. Interment will follow at Good Hope Cemetery, Singer, Louisiana.
