Thomas "Paul" Wayne Leger, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025, at the age of 76.  Born on August 17, 1948, Paul Wayne lived a life rich in faith and family. A devout man, Paul Wayne was a daily attendee at St. Pius Catholic Church, where his unwavering faith served as a cornerstone of his life.  His deep connection to his community was evident in his daily ritual of sharing coffee and the latest news with his neighbors, always with a warm smile and a kind word.  He was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in the quiet rhythm of his days and the company of those he cherished.

A true cowboy at heart, he found immense satisfaction in working cattle. His skills and dedication were admired by all who knew him.  His quiet strength, integrity, and dedication to his craft earned him respect and admiration from those who shared his passion for the land. He was also a proud member of the Masons.

While he did not have children of his own, Paul Wayne shared a profoundly special bond with his niece, Nicole, and nephew, Logan. They were more than family; they were the children he cherished, and their love was a source of immense joy and pride throughout his life.

Paul aka Boomer will be deeply missed by Nicole and Logan, along with countless others whose lives he touched with his quiet kindness and unwavering faith. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, hard work, and genuine connection to the community and those he loved.

Paul Wayne is survived by his siblings, Stella Broussard, Diane Thibodeaux, Timothy Leger & wife, Mollie, and Kenny Leger & wife, Lisa; nieces and nephews, Anthony "Tony" Leger & wife, Shirley, Roxanne Leger, Stephanie Johnson & husband, Terence. Anjeanette Leger. Robbie Broussard & wife, Lynn, Rhonda Berry & husband, Glenn, Rena Tofflemire & husband, Andy, Randy Broussard & wife, Lauren, Roz Rosteet & husband, Scott, Larry Thibodeaux, Jr. & wife, Michelle, Paul Jannise & wife, Ciel Dafford, Nicole Burgess & husband Dusty, and Logan Leger & wife, Amanda.

He is preceded in passing by his parents, Alex & Ament Leger; brother, Zannie Leger; brothers-in-law, Larry Thibodeaux, Sr. and Rodney Broussard; sister-in-law, Christine Leger.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., in the Reed Chapel at Riley Smith & Sons, 315 N 14th Street, Kinder, Louisiana.
