Thomas Steve Miller, Sr. was born June 11, 1940, and passed away August 3, 2025, at the age of 85.

He is survived by his wife, Freda Miller; children, Thomas Steve Miller, Jr. and wife, Jennifer, Zelma Silas, Ramona Miller, and Mia P. Miller; grandchildren, Terri Henry, Rohan Brown, Anna Brown, and Malim Muskelly; great grandchildren, Nakira Henry, Tomel Miller, Jr., Billy Henry, Trindy Henry, and Nahriah Muskelly; siblings, Vonnie Miller and Lonnie Miller; and a host of family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his spouse, Anna Jo Williams; his parents, Robert Lee and Adella Miller; infant son; grandson, Tomel Henry; siblings, Ocie Lee Freeman, Kenneth E. Miller, Melvin E. Miller, Sr., Darnell Miller, Collins Miller, and Venton Miller.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Sunrise Missionary Baptist Church, 1326 Muldrow Street, Deridder, Louisiana. The Reverend Alvin Peters, Sr. will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Almadane Cemetery in Almadane, Louisiana.
