Thomas Ashworth was born December 2, 1958, and passed away May 16, 2026, at the age of 67.

Thomas was a true jokester at heart; he always knew how to make people smile and lighten the moment with his quick wit and playful spirit. He found peace and happiness on the river, where he loved spending, his time surrounded by nature and good company. More than anything, Thomas loved life and lived it fully, appreciating every moment and every person he met along the way.

He is survived by his wife, Karon Ray; daughters, Caroline Roper and Michelle Newland; along with numerous grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Shirley Ashworth.

Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana.
