Oberlin, LA - Theresa Ann Young, 73, was born on October 24, 1952, in Oberlin, Louisiana, to John and Alice Royer Boulet. She passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, in Oberlin.

Theresa was a believer in Christ, a member of the Ladies Altar Society, and a devoted member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She served as a Sunday school teacher and enjoyed reading, coloring, and creating art. Theresa deeply loved her family, her friends, and the people around her.

She is survived by her son, Ervin Young Jr.; and two sisters, Mary Mavis Guidry and her husband, Wayne, and Ruth Jeansonne and her husband, Martin.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Boulet; husband, Ervin Joseph Young Sr.; daughter, Alice Lorine Young; and four siblings, Eva Molitor, Lowella Rougeau, Clyde Joseph Boulet, and Agatha Alice Leger.

Visitation will be held at Hope United Pentecostal Church, 323 N. 4th Street, Oberlin, Louisiana, on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and will resume on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the service begins at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Glyn Bogard will officiate. Interment will follow at Oberlin Cemetery.
