Terry Renthrope was born on November 28, 1961, and passed away July 23, 2025.

Terry is survived by his former wife, Carolyn Renthrope; his companion, Eva Vital; Siblings, Jullin Renthrope and wife Troyoina, Ivory Renthrope Jr. and wife Deloris, Daniel Joseph Renthrope and wife Betty, and sister-in-law Hazel Renthrope; his stepchildren, Phillip Jackson, and Tawanna Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ivory Renthrope and Katherine Johnson
Renthrope; his siblings, Mitchell Lee, Elroy, Willard, Mandy Lee Renthrope; and his stepson, Kaylon Jackson.

Terry was a devoted believer in Christ. He was known for his humor and love of laughter; he brought joy to all who knew him. Above all, Terry was a caring and compassionate person who loved horses and the outdoors, finding happiness in nature and in the joys of life.

Family will receive friends from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Riley Smith & sons funeral home, 315 N. St., Kinder Louisiana. Bishop Rodney Botley will be officiating. Graveside will follow at the Botley Cemetery.
