Obituary

Terrence Manuel, born on December 11, 1961, passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 63.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Terrence was known for his love of family and friends. He had a deep love for the Lord and a strong faith in Jesus. He read his Bible daily and could recite countless verses that brought comfort and encouragement to those around him. His faith was a guiding light in his life, and he never hesitated to share the wisdom and love of Christ with others. Terrence found great joy in sports, cheering for the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, Elton Indians, and McNeese Cowboys. A lover of music and movies, he always appreciated a good song or a great film. He also had a special love for birds, especially red cardinals, which always brought him peace and happiness.

A dedicated employee at Moreno's A.C. for many years, Terrence took great pride in his work. He was also a 1979 graduate of Elton High School and later attended SOWELA Technical Community College. His kindness, humor, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who knew and loved him. His family finds peace in knowing that he is now in the presence of the Lord he loved so dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife, Paula Abbey Manuel; his children, Teresa Brooke Manuel and Ryan Neil Manuel; and his cherished grandchildren, Halie Grace and Austin Brice. He is also survived by his sister, Jennifer Manuel Bruchhaus, and her husband, Kirby.

Terrence was preceded in passing by his parents, Oda and Lou Manuel, as well as his sisters, Linda Susann McGregor and Candace Gay Fulp.
