Sandra "Sandie" Laura Ford, 72, of Oberlin, Louisiana, was born on May 20, 1954, in Elton, Louisiana, and passed away on October 17, 2026, in Kinder, Louisiana.

Sandra was a believer in Christ who spoke her mind and was known for her stubborn spirit. She loved her family, talking on the phone, and running the roads. A hard worker, she also enjoyed crafting. Celebrating holidays and giving to her family were important parts of her life.

She is survived by her children, Laura Duplechian and Lonnie Duplechian; her grandchildren, Brad Duplechian and April Duplechian; her great-grandchildren, Lawson, Rosaleigh, and Abel, with two baby boys on the way; her brother, Rufus Shuff, and his wife, Glenda Sue; as well as many other family members and friends.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Wilford Shuff Sr. and Ella LaFosse Shuff; four siblings, Clifford Shuff, Curtis "Buggy" Shuff Jr., Charlotte Savant, and Yvonne Manuel.
