Samuel Langley born March 8th, 1963, passed away February 24th, 2026, in Lake Charles, Louisiana at the age of 62.

He was known for his love of hunting and fishing, always finding peace and joy in the great outdoors. A believer in Christ, he lived his life with faith and compassion.

Samuel was truly the life of the party, quick with a joke and always ready with a warm smile. He never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went.

He is survived by his loving sons, Tylor Langley and wife Catherine, and Logan Langley; his grandchild, JW Langley; and his siblings, Lynn Langley, Penny Miller and husband Terry, Von Miller, Percy Joseph Langley Jr., Becky Langley, and Dwayne P. Langley. Samuel leaves behind a host of extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

He is preceded in passing by his parents, Percy Joseph Sr. and Olivia 'Ollie' Bushnell Langley, and his sister, Angela Theriot. Samuel's legacy of laughter, kindness, and steadfast faith will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Family will receive friends Sunday, March 1St, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Chapel at Riley Smith and Sons Funeral Home Kinder, Louisiana.
