Ronald Wayne
Pickett
Dec 2, 1949 — Jan 11, 2026
Ronald Wayne Pickett was born December 2, 1949, and passed away January 11, 2026, at the age of 76.
He was a man known for his stubborn streak, strong opinions, and unwavering values, qualities that defined him and earned him both respect and affection from everyone who knew him.
A graduate of Westlake High School, Class of 1970, Ronald proudly played football during his school years, an experience that shaped his lifelong love for the game. Whether cheering from the couch or discussing plays and teams, football remained one of his greatest joys throughout his life.
He had a true passion for cooking and was happiest when preparing meals for family and friends. His food brought people together, just as he always intended. Another of his favorite pastimes was running a booth at the flea market, where he enjoyed the simple pleasures of conversation, trading stories, and meeting new people.
Above all else, family was the center of his world. His love for them was constant and unwavering, and everything he did was rooted in providing, protecting, and being present for those he cared about most.
Ronald will be remembered for his strong will, generous heart, and the deep love he held for his family. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the memories that will be cherished forever.
