Roland Joseph Bushnell Jr., age 64, passed away on April 27, 2026, in Kinder, Louisiana. Born on March 4, 1962, in Kinder, Louisiana, he was the beloved son of Roland Joseph Bushnell Sr. and Dorothy Faye Wheat Fontenot.

Roland was a skilled carpenter by trade, known for his remarkable ability to turn nonworking mechanical items into functional equipment. He enjoyed fishing and spent many hours by the water, embracing the tranquility and challenge of the sport.

He is survived by his parents, Roland Sr. and Dorothy, as well as his siblings: George "Max" Fontenot and wife Bridgett, Minnie Ruiz and husband Michael, Ranelda Coward and husband Randy, Valerie Nugent and wife Tammy, Tina Jones and husband Don; loving nephew, Max Fontenot and wife Candice; along a host of family and friends.
