Robert "Bob" Wayne Prudhome, 68, was born on January 20, 1958, in Kinder, Louisiana, to Willis and Velma Prudhome. He passed away on October 13, 2026, in Kinder.

Bob was a devoted Catholic who loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart. He worked in the oilfield, and as an equipment operator. Above all, Bob loved his family and cherished time spent visiting with friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, David Prudhome (Lisa); his two grandsons, David James "DJ" Prudhome and John David Prudhome; his one granddaughter, Cheyenne Fruge; his three siblings, Mike Prudhome (Josetta), Patrick Prudhome (Pamela), Joseph "Ken" Prudhome (Sharon) and his wife of 24 years Mary Prudhome; and a host of extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Willis and Velma Prudhome.

Family will recieve friends Thursday, October 15th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a rosary being held at 1:00 p.m. at Riley Smith and Sons Funeral Home 315 N. 14th St. Kinder, Louisiana. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church Kinder, Louisiana.

Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery Kinder, Louisiana.

A repast will be held at from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Smith Hall Kinder, Louisiana.
