He is survived by his sister, Melissa Welch Hawkins & husband, Chris; niece, Kayla Welch Hebert & husband, Royce; nephew, Stuart T. Welch; great nephew & great niece, Sawyer & Sophie Hebert.
He is preceded in passing by his mother, Freda Maxine McCurdy.
Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 517 Broad Street, Lake Charles, Louisiana.
