Richard K. White was born February 25, 1943, and passed away August 29, 2026, at the age of 83.

He was known for his big laugh and his cheerful spirit, and he brought joy to those around him.

Richard was a kind, happy, and jolly man who was easy to like and always had a way of making people smile. He was known for his big laugh and his cheerful spirit, and he brought joy to those around him.

Richard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He loved to fly airplanes and was proud to own his own small plane. Richard was an insurance adjuster for many years. He also enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, and camping with his buddies. Some of his happiest times were spent outdoors, enjoying good company and making memories with friends.

He is survived by his sister, Dianne Allen; numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones; and his caretaker and friend, Elia Martinez.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alan and Mildred White; and siblings, Walter White and John White.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 7, 2026, at Flatwoods Cemetery, Flatwoods, Louisiana.
