Raymond Thomas was born November 16, 1934, and passed away October 11, 2025, at the age of 90.

Raymond was known for a deep love of building-whether it was homes, memories, or strong connections with those around them. He loved to travel and explore new places, always seeking out new adventures and experiences. He was an avid New Orleans Saints fan. Raymond was also a faithful member to Livingway Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his children, Denise Boutte and husband Marcus, Raymond William Thomas, and Craig Thomas and wife Kristy; grandchildren, Daymond Harmon, Jessie Chavis and husband Chris, Ashley Boutte, Alex Boutte, Ja'Dawn Henry, and Craig Henry; brother, Isreal Thomas and wife Ellamae; along with a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Thomas; son, Gregory Thomas; parents, Onezime and Lillie Thomas; and brothers, Welton Thomas and Houston Thomas.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heart of Hospice, Pastor Keating, Chuck, Dr. Harold, and Nurse Shelly Young for all the love and care that they have shown.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Livingway Pentecostal Church, 1617 E McNeese Street, Lake Charles, Louisiana. Pastor Brent Keating will be officiating.
