Joanne Raquel Cotlong Fairchild was born May 12, 1970, and passed away August 22, 2026, at the age of 56.

She will always be remembered for the love and warmth she shared with everyone around her. She loved spending time at the beach, cooking delicious meals, and keeping her home clean and welcoming.

Above all, she loved her family dearly. Her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, and the memories she created with them will be treasured forever.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Emerald Fairchild and Hezekiah Cotlong; grandchildren, Wrenley, Richard "Junior", and Micah; siblings, Little Edward Fairchild and wife Nadine, David Fairchild and wife Misty, and Crystal Fairchild; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Joanne Fairchild; and brother, Buddy Fairchild.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 31, 2026, and continuing from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at First Pentecostal Church, Starks, Louisiana. Pastor Karl Smith will be officiating. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Starks, Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made toward funeral expenses.
