Paul Wayne Smikal, 65, was born February 18,1961 and passed away May 17, 2025.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Wayne Smikal, a beloved son, friend, and craftsman. Paul was a graduate of Channelview High School and went on to earn his certification as a mechanic from Northeast San Jacinto Technical College.

Paul was a man of many talents and passions. He had a deep appreciation for art, a keen eye for the intricacies of mechanics, and a lifelong love of motorcycles. Those who knew him will remember his kind spirit, his creative mind, and his ability to breathe life into anything he worked on — whether it was a canvas, an engine, or a well-worn bike.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Eleanor Yvonne Bryan Smikal.

He is survived by his cousin Anton Smikal and wife Martha Smikal

Paul's legacy lives on in the countless memories he created with those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Palms Memorial Park, Dayton, Texas.
