Odessar Ann Citizen (47 years old) was born on November 26, 1976, to Lawrence Citizen Jr. and Velma Bushnell Cezar. She entered eternal rest on November 10, 2024, around family in Louisiana.

Odessa was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church starting at a very young age. She worked at the Oberlin Cafeteria for many years then worked at Isle of Capri for several years until she moved to Port Arthur, TX in 2005.

She loved Texas, but she always made her way back to Louisiana. Even though Odessar did not have any children of her own, she enjoyed her nieces and nephews as if they were hers. She enjoyed cooking, gathering with family, watching football (go Cowboys!), and traveling. She loved to gather around the table to paint and color with her family. She especially loved the holidays and going shopping.

Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted and loving companion, Eugene Harmon; two sisters, Yolanda (Raymund) Gobert, and Cynthia (Shawn) Citizen; one brother Lawrence (Elsie) Citizen III; her best friend Leah Langley; nieces, Amanda Edwards, Brittany Gobert, Ski'lynn Citizen, Serinity Citizen, Addisyn Summers, A'myra Summers, and Aubreigh Summers; nephews Phillip Gobert, Casey Edwards, and A'kyran Summers; two godchildren, Skilym Citizen and Keera Robinson; and a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.

Odessar is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Citizen Jr., Audrey "Des" Cezar, Velma Bushnell Cezar; her brother; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
