Michael Vidrine, born November 1st, 1964, passed away on March 21st, 2026, in Opelousas, Louisiana at the age of 61.

Michael was a believer in Christ and cherished every moment spent with his family. He had a passion for Cajun cooking, old cars, and enjoyed time in nature, especially being on the water. Known for his green thumb, Michael loved tending to his plants and caring for his two cats, Jenny and Kitty. Fishing and crabbing were among his favorite pastimes, and he approached life fearlessly, mastering many trades along the way.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Senegal; his children, Tony David and wife Amanda, Katie Little and husband Michael, Ashley Vidrine, and Misty Vidrine; his 13 cherished grandchildren , and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He is preceded in passing by his parents, Raymond Vidrine and Jeanette Rider; his grandchildren, Drake Vidrine and Journey Little, and his siblings; Michelle Vidrine, Douglas "Joe" Vidrine, Janet Manuel, and David Vidrine.

Michael's memory will live on through his family and the countless friends whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit remains in the hearts of those who loved him.
