Melvin Gomez, Jr. nació y falleció el 22 de abril de 2026.

Su familia comparte el recuerdo de su precioso Melvin, quien fue recibido directamente en los brazos de Jesús. Aunque su tiempo aquí fue solo un momento, fue profundamente amado y esperado desde el principio, y será extrañado para siempre.

Le sobreviven sus padres, Melvin y Lorena Gomez; sus hermanos, Lorena A. Perez, Richard A. Perez, Danna M. Perez, Jose E. Perez, Erick M. Gomez, Lesie V. Gomez y Allan G. Gomez; sus abuelos, José Cruz Nunez, Juana Maria Rodriguez, Jorge A. Gomez y Dominga Urrea; así como numerosos familiares extendidos.

Un rezo del rosario a las 11:00 a. m., el viernes 1 de mayo de 2026, en la Comunidad Católica San Francisco de Asís, 4300 Meeks Drive, Orange, Texas. La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo a las 12:00 p. m., el viernes 1 de mayo de 2026, en la Comunidad Católica San Francisco de Asís, Orange, Texas. El Padre Sinclair oficiará. El entierro se realizará a continuación en el Cementerio Santa María, Orange, Texas.


Melvin Gomez, Jr. was born and passed away on April 22, 2026.

His family shares the memory of precious Melvin, who was welcomed directly into the arms of Jesus. Though his time here was only a moment, he was deeply loved and longed for from the very beginning, and he will be forever missed.

He is survived by his parents, Melvin and Lorena Gomez; siblings, Lorena A. Perez, Richard A. Perez, Danna M. Perez, Jose E. Perez, Erick M. Gomez, Lesie V. Gomez, and Allan G. Gomez; grandparents, José Cruz Nunez, Juana Maria Rodriguez, Jorge A. Gomez, and Dominga Urrea; and along with numerous extended family.

A reciting of the rosary at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 1, 2026, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Community 4300 Meeks Drive, Orange, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday May 1, 2026, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Community, Orange, Texas. Father Sinclair will be officiating. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Orange, Texas.
