Mary (Bowman) Halliburton, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 88 in Beaumont, Texas.
Born on December 27, 1936, in Diboll, Texas, Mary was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to raising her four children and building a loving family. She was married to her husband, Roy Halliburton, for 70 years- a beautiful testament to their enduring love.&
Mary had a deep passion for nature and the outdoors, which she passed down to her children. She loved gardening and could often be found tending to her plants or enjoying the simple beauty of the natural world. Her creativity shone through in her various crafts, including sewing clothing, quilting, and upholstering furniture. Her hands were always busy creating something useful and beautiful for her home and family.
Holidays and family gatherings were always special under Mary's care. She created traditions that will continue to be cherished for generations. Her warmth, generosity, and steadfast presence were the heart of every celebration.
Mary is survived by her husband Roy Halliburton and children; Danny Halliburton, Jerri Halliburton and Douglas Halliburton (Hazel). Her Grandchildren: Crystal Bowman (Josh), Garrett Halliburton (Katie), Joey Halliburton (Crystal), Jared Halliburton (Brandi), Patrick Halliburton, Jacquelyn Neely (Justin) and Shaleisa Culpepper, and eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild- each a testament to the deep, far-reaching legacy of love she created.
Mary is preceded in death by her mother and father, John and Eva Bowman, Brothers: Henry Bowman, John Bowman, and son Ronnie Halliburton.
A graveside service to honor Mary's life will be held Monday, July 28, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Ryan Chapel Cemetery in Diboll, Texas.
Mary's gentle spirit, creative talent, and devotion to family will forever inspire those who knew her. In place of flowers, the family suggests honoring her memory by enjoying a moment in nature- perhaps planting a flower or bird watching, just as Mary did.
