Marty Lynn Marcantel was born April 13, 1958, and passed away December 5, 2024, at the age of 66. He enjoyed cooking and looked forward to hunting season every year. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his buddies. He loved his family and his church family dearly. Above all, Marty loved God. He was a man of faith. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Marcantel; stepson, Ronnie Frazee; children, Scottlynn Bonneau and husband Jeffery, and Marty Lynn Marcantel Jr.; grandchildren, Ava Grace and Jeffery "Tripp" Bonneau III; mother, Vivian Lee; siblings, Odelia Brown, Debra Eygabroad and husband Robert, Joann Hughes and husband Jim, Arthur Marcantel Jr., and Olan Marcantel; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Marcantel; and his mother-in-law, Louise Gaskins.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 9, 2024, with the funeral service being held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Calvary Apostolic Church, Starks, Louisiana. Pastor Jeremy Shields and Rev. Alfred Gibson will be officiating. Interment to follow at Fountain Cemetery, Starks, Louisiana.
