Marilyn Savant was born on July 4th, 1951, and passed away on November 8th, 2024.

Marilyn was devoted to her family. Her nieces and nephews were the joys of her life. She always put others before herself. She was a very giving person. She would spend her last dollar to buy gifts for someone that was having a birthday or Christmas gifts. She suffered for many years with her health, but it never got in the way of her putting others ahead of herself. Kammie was her best friend, and they took many trips together. She loved the lord with all of her heart and at the end talked often about how she missed her church family.

Marilyn is survived by her siblings, Louise Fontenot, Gwen Chapel, and Troy Dale Savant, as well as a host of family and friends.

She is preceded by her parents Ellis Savant Sr. and Lorie Bushnell Savant; siblings Ellis Savant Jr. and Bobbie Jo Long.
