Margaret Hardin Waldrep was born June 2, 1948, and passed away October 21, 2026, at the age of 78.
Margaret loved her family and grandkids more than anything.
Margaret loved her family and grandkids more than anything. She enjoyed cooking, family get-togethers, shopping, and celebrating the holidays. She loved making sure everyone was fed, even though she always thought she hadn't cooked enough. There was always enough food to feed a small army! That was just her way of showing love.
Margaret worked as a beautician for 35 years, a job she truly loved. She also enjoyed going out to eat, especially at a good Mexican restaurant.
Margaret will be remembered for her love of family, her generous heart, and the many wonderful memories she made with those she loved. Her laughter, cooking, and the love she shared will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Michael "Mike" Waldrep; children, Clay Waldrep and wife Shelley, and Wendy Totino and husband Shane; grandchildren, Brendon Waldrep, Jacelyn Waldrep, Lane Totino, Bree Lafleur and husband Cameron, and Emilee Totino; great grandchildren, Ayden Winkle, and James Lafleur; brother, J R Hardin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There was always enough food to feed a small army! That was just her way of showing love.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Ethel Hardin; siblings, Patricia Beebe, Catherine Hogan, Billy Hardin, and Wynne Hardin; and sister-in-law, Janice Hardin.
Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Calvary Baptist Church, 2335 State Highway 12 East, Deweyville, Texas. Rev. John Fortenberry will be officiating.
