He was a hard worker who would drop what he was doing to help anybody who needed a hand.
Leonard "Lin" Nixon was born on September 11, 1956 and passed away on, October 1, 2026, at the age of 70.
Lin loved people in his own way. He was not a hugger, and he was stubborn as a mule, but he was a hard worker who would drop what he was doing to help anybody who needed a hand.
Harley's were his joy. He loved riding them just as much as he loved working on them, grease on his hands and the open road ahead of him. Lin did not say a lot, but he showed up. That was how he loved, and that is how he will be remembered.
He is survived by his children, Daryl Nixon and wife Cheryl, Tonya Nixon, and Gary Nixon; siblings, Sandy Carpenter, Jeannene Cotton, Freddy Nixon, and Mark Nixon and wife Dedra; six grandchildren
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Leon and Alvira Jean Nixon; wife, Kay Nixon; brother, Leon Nixon.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2026, at Riley Smith & Sons.
