Lena Ann Simoneaux, born on October 14, 1941, in Thibodeaux, Louisiana to the union of John Davis Granier and Lena Molaison Granier. She passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, in Oakdale, Louisiana at the age of 84.

Known for her warmth and kindness, Lena was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She found joy in simple pleasures such as working crossword puzzles, cooking, and keeping her home tidy. Lena's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Lena leaves behind a loving family, including her children, Adrienne Bertrand, Kaye, DeeDee, Laura, and John; cherished grandson, Damien Antoine Bertrand as well as many other grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with a wide circle of devoted friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved children: Kelly, Damien, Dock, and Kenny; her brothers and sisters, Ella Granier Zeller, Louis Granier, O'Neil Granier, Mae Mae Granier Dempster, Odile Granier Falgoust, Ana Granier Loupe, and Davis Granier.
