Larry Ray Sears was born January 29, 1945, and passed away October 21, 2025, at the age of 80.

He is survived by his wife Valerie Sears; children, Larry Ray Sears Jr., Chris Wayne Sears, Margie Crockett and husband David, David Sears and wife Tracey, sister, Pam Taylor; 9 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Billie Sears; grandson, Brian Sears, siblings, Glenda Brogotti, and Gordon Allen Sears.

Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2025, at Dorman-Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 8808 Highway 87 North Orange, Texas 77632. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at St. Maurice Catholic Church 9079 TX-62 Orange, Texas 77632. Interment to follow at Concord Cemetery.
