J.W. Harris was born April 30, 1938, and passed away December 4, 2024, at the age of 86. J.W. was a very hard worker. When he was younger, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and was on a square dance team with his wife.

He is survived by his children, Deborah Robin and husband Tony, Mike Harris, Glenda Harris, and Laura Hoffman; grandchildren, Chad Harris, Brandon Harris, Jonathan Harris, Hunter Robin, Michael Colton Harris, Ashlyn Lynne, David Harris, Joshua White, Amanda White, Jessica Yocham, and Shawn Saucier; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Edna McGlauchen; and brother, Tom Harris; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Odessa Harris; brother, Bugs Harris; and daughter-in-law, Karen Harris.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2024, at Perkins Cemetery, DeQuincy, Louisiana.
