Julie Nichole Richard Sheppard was born on August 11, 1982, and passed away on, April 19, 2026, at the age of 43.

She was married to her husband, Kenneth, since 2021, and the two shared a life full of everyday moments that meant the most. Julie's kids were her whole world. She was so proud of them and never missed a chance to talk about them or show them love.

Julie enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved being outside, especially near a river or a pond. She was known for mowing the yard with a push mower, whether it really needed it or not, just because she enjoyed it. She had a love for plants and gardening. She also liked thrifting and looking for a good find. From time to time, she'd tinker with sewing, even if she wasn't perfect at it and enjoyed every minute of it.

More than anything, Julie loved being with her family. That's where she was happiest. She lived life in her own way, finding joy in the little things and making the most out of every day. Julie leaves behind a lot of love and memories that her family will hold onto forever. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Sheppard; parents, Raymond & Lisa Richard; children, Brooke Vice and Brennon Vice; siblings, Jonah Richard (Erin) and Rachel Richard (Josh); numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She is preceded in passing by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Family will receive friends Friday, April 24, 2026, from 2:00 p.m., until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m., at Crossroads Baptist Church, 1845 Highway 109 S, Vinton, Louisiana. Rev. Rob Tibbitts will be officiating.
