Joseph "4-Barrel" Darce, born on November 18, 1959, rode his last trail and cast his final line on March 16, 2025, at the age of 65.

A true son of the wild, Joseph lived by his own rules, finding freedom in the woods and on the seat of a four-wheeler, living on Quiska Chitto River with a fishing pole in hand. He was a hunter, a fisherman, and a man who felt more at home under an open sky than beneath a roof. Though the law might not have always been on his side, nature always was.

He is survived by his daughters, Destiny Walker and her husband Willy; two sons in love, Dusty Darce & wife, Cassie and Jeremy Darce & girlfriend, Audrey; Candace O'Quinn and her husband Joey; his grandchildren, Kelcie, Kloie, Kenzley, Aubree, Abel, and Nova; his siblings, Andy Martin, Ruthie Singleton, Theresa Darce, and Mitzi Gormanous; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Joseph was preceded in passing by his parents, Alphonso "Bud" Darce and Katherine Martin; his siblings, Katherine Skinner, Emily Fontenot, Donna Laird, and Phillip Darce.
