John Edward Hess, Jr. was born February 11, 1958, and passed away September 30, 2026, at the age of 68.

He is survived by his children, James Hess, Kathleen Harris and husband Scott, John D. Hess, and Irma Hess; mother, Irma Hess; sister, Pam Yellott and husband Scott; brothers, Daniel Hess, Ronald Hess and wife Ruby, Anthony Hess, and Timothy Hess and wife Meme; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Hess Sr.

A private interment will be held at Perkins Cemetery, DeQuincy, Louisiana.
