John Clint Doucet was born September 1, 1961, and passed away October 12, 2026, at the age of 65.

John was a loving family man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved singing karaoke, playing pool as an APA player, and spending time outdoors. His flower garden brought him joy, and he loved being outside building things with his hands.

Above all, John cherished his family and the memories they shared. He will be remembered for the things he loved, the time he spent with those closest to him, and the special place he held in the hearts of everyone who knew him

He is survived by his children, Kayla Sennett, Brent Matlock and wife Brittney, John J.C. Doucet and wife Janie, and Natasha Doucet and fiancé Brian Sheppard; grandchildren, Landen Doucet, JC Doucet, Christina Doucet, Clair Bair, Jameson Bair, Octavia Simon, Vera Mae Allen, Kayson Matlock, and Adalynn Matlock; siblings, Ronald Doucet and wife Robyn, Rebbeca Thibodeaux, and Lisa Garcia and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Theresa Doucet; and brother, Kirt Doucet.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2026, at Dorman - Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 8808 Highway 87 North, Orange, Texas.
