Jessie Darmon Clark was born February 3, 1944, and passed away October 23, 2025, at the age of 81.

He is survived by his children, Jannia East and husband Ray of Vidor, TX, Misty Elaine Clark of Castroville, TX, Kanita Annette Raheja and husband Dheeraj of Sugarland, TX, and Dwayne "Buddy" Smith of Fields, LA; 9 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and siblings, Bonnie Henderson and husband Wade of VA, Lorrine Sanders of DeRidder, LA, Lois Thomplait, Flois Rainwater of DeQuincy, LA, and George Clark and wife Mary of Rosepine, LA.

He is preceded in death by Ruthie Clark (mother of Dwayne), Edith Clark (mother of Jannia and Misty), and Patricia Clark (mother of Kanita); parents, Ivy and Lovey Clark; along with 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Rev. Mike Streams will be officiating. Interment to follow at Clark Cemetery, Starks, Louisiana.
