Jesse Pierre was born August 25, 1941, and passed away January 23, 2026, at the age of 84.

He proudly served in the United States Army. He was loyal, hardworking, and faithful, a dependable man whose greatest love was his family.

He is survived by his wife Wanda; children, Sharon Pierre, Misty Dowden, Amanda Rhoads and husband Justin, and Jessica Pierre; 7 grandchildren; and sister, Patsy Leon.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Sr. and Clarice Pierre; daughter, Andrea Pierre Brooks; sister, Ethal Ann Pierre; brothers, Samuel Pierre Jr., Louie Rainey, and James LeRoy Pierre.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2026, at Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite, Louisiana. Pastor Jim Blanchard will be officiating.
