Jerrod M. Harrell was born August 17, 1977, and passed away August 30, 2026, at the age of 49.

Jerrod was a beloved son, husband, father, family member, and friend whose life was marked by faith, love, hard work, and generosity.

Jerrod was a lifelong member of Abundant Life Church, where his faith was an important part of who he was. He was the owner of Texas Professional Surveying and was a true entrepreneur who took great pride in his work and providing for those he loved.

Jerrod was caring and loving, always willing to help others. He had a generous heart and often gave to others sacrificially, putting their needs before his own. He was a provider in every sense of the word, working hard to care for and support his family.

Those who knew Jerrod will remember his kind heart, generous spirit, strong work ethic, and the love he showed to others. His life touched many people, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his wife, Laure Harrell; son, Mason Harrell and wife Tiffany; parents, Gene and Renee Harrell; siblings, Tammy Hammond and husband Shawn, and Chase Harrell; nieces and nephews, Caroline Gertson, Conner Gertson, Kyle Gertson, Brooke Hammond, Kahlen Randall, and Kambryn Harrell; great nephew, Kase Watford; mother-in-law, Gentra Barnhill; father-in-law, Jimmie Barnhill; sister-in-law, Emily Gertson and husband Kris; and brother-in-law, Bill Barnhill and wife Teri.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Derwood and Flora Mae Harrell and Ronald and Eloise Dodd.

Family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2026, at Abundant Life Church, 12165 Highway 75 N Willis, Texas. Pastor Dave Stovall and Rev. Gregory W. Randol will be officiating. Interment to follow at Smith Memorial Park, Willis, Texas.
