Jennie was the beloved wife of the late Doctor Reverend Bobbie Duncan, Sr., and a devoted and loving mother. She served faithfully as First Lady of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was also a member and mother of Progressive Church of God in Christ. Mother Jennie V. Duncan's life was a reflection of her strong faith, she found joy in singing in the choir, offering prayer, and being a source of comfort and encouragement to all who knew her. She dedicated many years of service as a nurse's aide at Earl K. Long Hospital, where she worked in the nursery unit, and later continued her care for others at Preferred Living, assisting residents with compassion and dignity.

Jennie found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved sewing, crocheting, and baking, and she was especially known for her homemade biscuits and coffee, shared warmly with family and friends. Above all, she cherished her family, particularly her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

She was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was known for her kind-hearted spirit, gentle nature, and ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved.

Jennie leaves to cherish her memory her four children: LaChanda Dupard (Reggie Dupard), Donita Duncan Gradney (J.D.
