Jennie De La Cruz, 86, of Reeves, Louisiana, passed away on October 2nd, 2025, in Kinder.

Jennie, beloved daughter of Lee Stanley and Katherine Greene Stanley, was born in Sandusky, Ohio. Throughout her life, Jennie was known for her strong faith in Christ and her genuine love for people. She found immense joy in helping others and had a special passion for taking care of children. Jennie lived in various places across the United States, embracing each new community with warmth and kindness. She enjoyed embroidering and crocheting, but her greatest love was always spending quality time with her family.

Jennie was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Alvin O. De La Cruz; her parents, Lee and Katherine Stanley; her siblings, James Wood and June Thomas; and her cherished Grandmother Greene.

She is survived by her loving sister, Sharon Elam, as well as many friends and extended family members who will deeply miss her caring spirit and generous heart.

Burial will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in the Oakland Cemetery, 2917 Milan Road, Sandusky, Ohio.
