Jeffery "Jeff" Arnold Young was born July 2, 1976, and passed away September 16, 2026, at the age of 50.

Jeff was a lively, funny, outgoing, caring, and kind person who brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. He had a heart of gold and was the kind of person who would give anyone the shirt off his back.

Jeff was a hard worker who could do just about anything. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, welding, carpentry, and mud riding. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially Maddie.

More than anything, Jeff will be remembered for his generous heart, his sense of humor, and the way he cared for others. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his wife, Brandi Young; daughter, Randi "Maddie" Young; father, Jimmy Young and wife Sherry; mother, Phyllis Young; siblings, Robert "Bobby" Jordan and wife Natalie, Darlene Goins and husband Darren, and Angie Frazier and husband Randy; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son, Austin Caide Young; brother, Jimmy "Jimbo" Young Jr.; and grandparents, Arnold and Jamie Young, and CJ and Velma Reneau.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2026, with the funeral service being held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy Louisiana. Interment to follow at Oretta Cemetery, Singer, Louisiana.
