James Rayford Freeman, Jr.  was born on March 16, 1975, and passed away March 19, 2026. He was born in Natchez, Mississippi, and currently lived in Hueytown, Alabama.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Freeman; children, Buddy and Maya Freeman of Hueytown, Alabama, and Victoria Booker of Argo, Alabama; mother Doris Kircher and sister Ann Wisner of Richland, Mississippi and his sister, Jennifer Warnock of Pearl, Mississippi; as well as a host of nieces and nephews and childhood best friend Jason Richardson.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Rayford Freeman,Sr. of Vidalia, Louisiana; grandparents, Mattie and Rowan Freeman of Tallulah, La and Charles and Sarah Guy of Vidalia, La.

During his school years, he played the tuba and trumpet for the Vidalia High School band and was one of the youngest members of the Natchez Orchestra. He worked as supervisor for Ascorium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama before his health declined.

Ann and Jennifer, the best sisters a brother could ever have, just want everyone to know that we always knew that he was Aunt Ella's favorite.
