Howard Eugene
Hembree
Jan 10, 1970 — Apr 16, 2025
Howard Eugene Hembree was born January 10, 1970, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and passed away at his home in Sulphur, Louisiana, on April 16, 2025, at the age of 55.
Howard spent his earliest boyhood running the hills of Tennessee and then moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana. He graduated from LC Boston, where he played trumpet in the band. After graduating he enlisted in the United States National Guard. Shortly after that he met and married his soul mate, Eva, and they had 3 children, Thomas, CJ, and Micheal, and later the bonus baby, Landin.
Howard was born again on May 7, 2000, at Lighthouse Tabernacle, Sulphur, Louisiana where he was a faithful member and usher, dedicating his life to Jesus with a servant's heart working in whatever capacity he could for the church that he so dearly loved.
He was a kind man that never met a stranger. He worked for 22 years as an operator at Southern Ionics. He loved the outdoors whether it was fishing, hunting, shooting, or even yard work. He just loved being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Marie Bright Hembree; children, Thomas Lee, Christopher "CJ" Jacob, Micheal Howard, and Landin Brice; and siblings, Lisa M. Fontenot, Christopher J Bellard (Diana Adean Bellard), and Kimberly D Bellard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Merry Paulette Bellard; and "dad", Thomas Bright.
The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice for the compassion that they have shown during this difficult time.
Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m., May 8, 2025, at Lighthouse Tabernacle, Sulphur, Louisiana.
