Henry "Poop" Holley was born April 9, 1942, and passed away February 22, 2025, at the age of 82. Henry loved all things outdoors. He enjoyed mowing, hunting, fishing, and gardening, especially potatoes. He was a faithful member of Hargrove Pentecostal Church. Henry loved his family more than anything and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mavis Holley; children, Karen Burnitt and husband Eddie, Steven Holley, Stacy Birdwell and husband Johnny, and Jessica Craft and husband James; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Earline Stuart and husband Nick; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his daughters, Sharlene Holley and Joanna Perkins; granddaughter, Katelyn Craft; parents, Joe and Jessie Holley; and brother, Kirby Holley.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2025, and continuing from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Hargrove Pentecostal Church, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Pastor Anthony Kennon, Rev. David Kennon, and Rev. Roy Hoosier will be officiating. Interment to follow at Good Hope Cemetery, Singer, Louisiana.
