Gloria Fay Mitchell Pharris was born August 26, 1950, and passed away October 9, 2026, at the age of 76.

Gloria was a strong-willed woman with a heart full of love and a spirit full of grit and determination. She was caring, loving, funny, and witty, with a personality that made her truly one of a kind. She had a way of bringing laughter and warmth to those around her and will always be remembered for her strength, her kindness, and her wonderful sense of humor.

Gloria found joy in the simple things in life, including crocheting, quilting, gardening, and canning. She took pride in her work and enjoyed creating things with her hands. Christmas was especially special to her, as she loved baking cookies and sharing the sweetness of the season with those she loved.

She is survived by her children, Kevin Pharris and wife Ashley, Christy Savoie and husband Chris, and Bridgett Perkins and husband Neal; grandchildren, Cole Pharris (Cait), Jake Pharris, Gracie Pharris, Kasey Jackson (Seth), Alstin Perkins (Haley), Josh Perkins, Gavin Pharris (Tori), Kelsey Carpenter (Cody), Dylan Savoie (Alexis), Madison Savoie, Laiken Taylor (Camron), JT Boyer (Branda), and Hunter Perkins (Kelsi); numerous great grandchildren; sister, Linda Sonnier; and brother, Bud Mitchell.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William "Skippy" Pharris; parents, Boyd and Ethel Mitchell; and siblings, Billie Stampley, Jerry Nelson, and Ethleyn Dunham.

Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana.
