Gloria Jean LeBlanc, born November 5, 1945, in Beaumont, Texas, to Henderson H. Landers and Bertha Aline Crow Bracken, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026, in Beaumont, Texas, at the age of 80. Gloria was deeply loved by her family and friends, and throughout her life she created a legacy defined by love and kindness.
Gloria lived a life marked by strong opinions, a determined spirit, and as presence that was never easily overlooked. She approached life in her own way, often standing firm on her views and leaving a lasting impression on those who knew her.
Gloria was a person of conviction, although they were often misunderstood. Her life serves as a reminder of the complexity of human nature, and the impact one individual can have on others both good and bad. She found joy in the companionship of her beloved cat, Garfield. Gloria embraced life fully, cherishing every moment.
She is survived by her son, Michael Scott Tschiedel; Godson, Bobby Joe Love and wife Theresa; her stepchildren: Allen Jr. and wife Judy LeBlanc, Liz LeBlanc Jones and husband Byron, Robert LeBlanc and wife Janise, Anita LeBlanc, and Paul Anthony LeBlanc. Gloria also leaves behind her as well as many extended family members and cherished friends who will always remember her with love.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Henderson Landers and Aline Bracken; her husband, Allen Joseph LeBlanc; stepchild, Chris LeBlanc; her fur baby, Garfield.
Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family will always be remembered. Gloria touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until service time in the First Baptist Church of Baston, 42803 TX-105, Batson, Texas 77519.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., in the First Baptist Church of Batson, 42803 TX-105, Batson, Texas 77519. Reverend Aaron Leger will be officiating.
