Glinda Clark Fontenot was born October 17, 1948, and passed away May 4, 2026, at the age of 77.

Glinda passed away leaving behind a life filled with simple joys and deep love for those around her. She found great comfort in reading and could often be found with a good book in hand. She also loved listening to gospel music, which brought her peace and strengthened her spirit.

Above all, Glinda cherished her family. Time spent with loved ones meant everything to her, and she will be remembered for the warmth, care, and love she shared so freely.

She is survived by her son, Eric Fontenot; grandson, Greyson Fontenot; siblings, Geraldine Gray and Mike Clark; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Raymond Fontenot; son, Ervin Ray Fontenot; parents, Oliver and Moala Clark; and brother, John David Clark.

Cremation was entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana.
