Glen "Odell" Caraway was born November 27, 1971, and passed away October 24, 2025, at the age of 53.

Known for his quick wit and easy laugh, Odell had a way of making everyone around him feel at ease. He was the kind of person who could find a joke in almost anything, even when he was tired (which, if you knew him, was most of the time).

Though he often joked about needing "just five more minutes of sleep," Odell worked harder than most. He poured himself into his career, not because he had to, but because he truly loved what he did. His dedication, enthusiasm, and humor made him a joy to work with and a friend to everyone he met.

A talented musician, Odell had a deep love for music that followed him throughout his life. Whether he was playing, listening, or simply sharing a favorite song, music was one of the many ways he connected with others and expressed his generous spirit.

Outside of work, he lived for the moments spent with his son, Bug. Whether it was a silly adventure, a quiet evening, or a simple laugh shared between them, those were the times that brought him the greatest joy.

Odell's outgoing nature, warmth, and genuine kindness left a mark on everyone lucky enough to know him. He taught us to work hard, laugh often, and love deeply, even when we're tired.

He is survived by his son Terry (Nathan) Caraway; mother of his son, Christy Dagle and husband Donald, and their daughter Everlie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Terry and Olga Caraway.

Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., November 1, 2025 at Dorman - Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 8808 Highway 87 North Orange, Texas 77631. Mr. Chris Eppler will be officiating. Interment to follow at Jett Cemetery 4249 West Park Ave Orange, Texas 77630.

Honoring Odell as pallbearers are Nathan Caraway, Tony Caraway, Donald Dagle, Shon McDaniel, Danny Henry, and Bubba Wolford.
