Garry Lynn Dickerson, born December 3, 1954, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025.

Garry was a man who found joy in fishing and hunting. He had a generous heart and a deep love for his family, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

He is survived by his sister, Peggy Shattuck; his children, Emily Guillotte and Christopher Dickerson; and his grandson, Carter Guillotte. Garry also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ronda Dickerson; parents, Eddis and Roberta Dickerson; and his siblings, Eugene Dickerson, Mildred Whitaker, Shirley Barger, Mary "Sister" Slaydon, Eddis James "Buddy" Dickerson, and Jerry Wayne Dickerson.

Family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 7,2025, with a rosary to follow at 12:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 7,2025, at Riley Smith & Son Funeral Home,517 Broad Street, Lake Charles Louisiana. Grave side to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Westlake, Louisiana. Deacon Fred Reed will be officiating.
